India international School Mangaf , celebrated its Annual Investiture Ceremony on 7th September .The traditional ceremony  was graced by the presence of Director, Malayil Moosa Koya, Principal K.V. Indulekha, Vice-principal Saleem K. , Headmistress Sridevi Neelakannan, K.G. Coordinator  Najiya Kader, Middle School Coordinator  Prema Balasubramanyan, Mr. Hisham and esteemed parents. The dignitaries were accorded with Guard of Honour with dignity and pomp by the School’s Student Council.

The momentous occasion commenced with seeking the blessings of the Almighty.  Fathima Azzahra, a student of class 12, eloquently recited the holy verses from the Quran. Following this, Kuwait National Anthem, affirming the allegiance to the country Kuwait, was sung exquisitely by the school choir.

Principal, K. V. Indulekha, enunciated the welcome address with a positive note that reiterated, ‘Great things happen with great leadership’. The speech was concluded with loads of wishes to the newly designated school council and emphasized to carry out their duties and responsibilities with unwavering faith and commitment. She expressed her gratitude towards the proud parents who witnessed their children being invested with great responsibilities while embarking on a new journey as leaders.

CCA - in charge, Feroza Sultana accompanied with the assistant heads of the school, Dua Jameel and Nandu Sharma, handed over the school flag, emblazoned with the school emblem, to the Principal, K. V. Indulekha, who proudly waved the majestic flag of IISM that beholds dignity and pride. With utmost respect and faith, the flag was handed over to the School Head Boy, Basil Mohammed and Head Girl Huda Amir, who received the same with a promising assurance that they will sincerely uphold the legacy of the school with dedication and hard work.

The investiture ceremony signifies the reliance and confidence that the school consigns in the newly invested office bearers. Donning the mantle of accountability, the elected leaders were conferred with badges and sashes. Following this, Director, Malayil Moosa Koya administered the oath. The magnificent spectacle of the praiseworthy young leaders on the stage, taking the oath of responsibility was truly graceful and enthralling.

Malayil Moosa Koya, Director of School, addressed the gathering. He congratulated the torch bearers of IISM and advised them to work hard and achieve success with all their might. He also exhorted them to uphold the moral values that they are inculcated with, in school.  He recalled the cherished memories of the chairman (Late) Dr. P.A. Ibrahim Haji, which radiated the words of wisdom. The indelible moment was further enhanced with the honoring of Vice Principal, Saleem K. who was conferred with Doctorate Degree, an achievement worth to be recognized.

Speech by the head boy, Basil Mohammed and head girl, Huda Amir was indeed impressive. They expressed their thanks to school for reposing faith in them. They credited the school for satiating them with moral education and nurturing them with holistic education and transforming them into confident individuals. To reciprocate the same, they promised to shoulder their responsibilities diligently and uphold the dignity of the school by taking it to newer heights and resplendence. The audience couldn’t help but marvel at their vision and clarity of thought.

The occasion culminated with a melodious song by school choir and scintillating dance performance which left the audience in amazement. CCA Secretary Adidy Manikandan proposed the vote of thanks. The ceremony came to a close with the choral singing of the National Anthem, and ended in jubilation with the students forming a corridor and lauding at the proud council members.
