ICSK junior family came together to celebrate the valediction of the outgoing students of classes 5th and 6th. To celebrate this bittersweet moment, an extravagant farewell programme was organised by the students of class 5 on 14th March 2023.
Principal ICSK Junior – Mrs. C. Sheeja welcomed the chief guest, students and parents for registering their presence in Anugrah 2023. In her address, she congratulated the students for their achievements in ICSK Junior. In the years to come they should focus on their goals and try to accomplish them. She appreciated the efforts put in by the teachers and students for making the day special and memorable.
The gathering was solemnly graced by Mr. Sunil Mogra-Senior Manager Alghanim Industries. He along with the principal presented the mementoes – a token of love and appreciation prepared by the teachers, for the students.
The chief guest conducted a short enriching session for our students, staff and parents. It was inspiring and motivating too. The crux of his message was to focus with relaxation on any task we tend to accomplish, to get rid of negative emotional garbage and remove all the doubts within us.
On behalf of the ICSK junior family the chief guest was presented a memento as a token of thanksgiving.
The day started off with a profound prayer followed by the cultural events. The mellifluous songs resonated all over. The students grabbed the attention of the audience with their rhythmic, fun-filled and colourful dance performance which perfectly suited the occasion.
Teachers wished good luck to the students for all their future endeavors. They blessed the students with words of wisdom and motivated them to imbibe the values inherited in school.
Few students of the outgoing batch grabbed the opportunity to share their experiences. Everyone listened in rapt attention, how in a great extreme they will miss their school. They were generous enough to thank the principal, deputy vice principal, teaching and non-teaching staff for the co-operation and support they received throughout their stay in Junior School.
Finally the vote of thanks was delivered by the Academic Coordinator – Mrs. Lubna Lodhi. The event concluded with the Indian National Anthem.
Summing up, the day was great, filled with nostalgia, fun and excitement.
