ICSK Host Eid - ul - Fitr Celebration for Staff
The festival that upholds the spirit of brotherhood and love ‘Eid - ul – Fitr’ was celebrated in the Indian Community School, Senior on 29th April 2023, Saturday in a distinctive festive atmosphere filled with irrepressible positive feeling and gusto. Decorated with lights and vibrant hues, the auditorium had an ambience of serenity and happiness. The day was made special with the gracious presence of Mr. Vinukumar Nair, Honorary Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Mr. Azharuddin Amer Mohammed, Honorary Secretary of the Board of Trustees.
The programme commenced with the Islamic prayer recited by Mr. Munir Mohammed invoking the blessings of the Almighty. Mr. Vinod Lakshmanan, Head of the Department, Mathematics and Staff Club Secretary for the academic year 2023 – 24 extended a cordial welcome to the gathering. The Chief Guest of the Event Mr. Hani Zain Elabden, Chief Editor, Arab Times was welcomed by Hon. Vice Chairman of ICSK, Mr. Vinukumar Nair and Principal and Senior Administrator of ICSK, Dr. V. Binumon. In his address, the Chief Guest expressed his joy and happiness to be part of the ICSK Family Celebration.
‘Talent is a gift that everyone is blessed with.’ The Staff of ICSK presented a spectacular cultural programme enriched with music, costumes, dance and entertainment. Mr. Unnikrishnan and Ms. Swarnalatha pulled the heartstrings of the audience with their melodious songs. The scintillating dance performance by Mr. Nishad and Team added much exuberance and brought great joy to the gathering. The climax of the day that enraptured the audience was the mesmerizing musical performance by Mr. Sumit Toshkhani and Team.
Taking the celebration, a notch further an after- party was organized for the staff by the Board of Trustees. Many fun – filled activities and games were arranged for the staff. Such gathering provides an opportunity for everyone to mingle and have some light moments. A sumptuous spread of dishes savoured the taste buds of all. It was a day filled with fun, cheer and fervor.
