Celebrating the Legacy ; ICSK Junior Celebrates Foundation Day
FOUNDATION DAY
“Celebrating the legacy –
Where learning and growth has been in full display for 64 years.”
It has been said and believed since long that for any great work to be done, it is important to have the right foundation. It forms the platform on which the future stands. It’s a day when the past, present and future of the institution come together, taking vows to uplift the institute. On this occasion a special assembly was conducted in ICSK Junior on 7th May 2023 in which students showcased their talents with great enthusiasm and zeal.
Principal Mrs. C. Sheeja addressed the assembly and shared the contribution and the humanitarian vision of our founders. She also promised and sought assurance from the students and teachers that they would keep setting new benchmarks with every passing year and strive to strengthen the school’s proud legacy with even more enhanced performance. She appreciated the sincere effort put in by the students and teachers to make the event memorable.
The event set in motion with the recitation of the verses from the Holy Quran along with a prayer song. It was followed by an apt thought for the day offering tribute to the institution with a great legacy. There was an excellent speech by the student about the foundation day, 64 years of making a difference, learning, a lifetime of success.
A birthday is incomplete without a birthday song and they didn’t miss the opportunity of singing it melodiously while also displaying the historical view of ICSK, in a short presentation the young ones dressed as heads of the institution of all the branches stole the show. The celebration dance following the birthday wishes was enjoyed by all.
The energy and passion of the students was visible in the performances that they put up. The celebration was complete with the cake cutting ceremony. The staff members and students cherished the moments, and vowed to collaborate their efforts for the glorification of the school.
Assembly concluded with the pledge and the singing of the Indian National Anthem.
