Investiture Ceremony at ICSK Junior
"Leadership is all about service not only to the school but to the society at large."
With this thought, the ICSK Junior family organized its Annual Investiture Ceremony on 11th May, 2023. The ceremony was held with pomp and dignity in the school premises. It was on this day, the newly elected student council was bestowed with the responsibility of leading their school with compassion, commitment and competence.
The Chief Guest for the function, the President of Indian Doctor’s Forum-Kuwait, Dr. Diwakara Chaluviah, escorted by the senate members, was welcomed by the audience with a standing ovation and a huge round of applause.
Principal- ICSK Junior, Mrs. C. Sheeja welcomed the chief guest lauding him for his stellar contribution to society since 1994. He was presented a bouquet and a Memento as a mark of appreciation.
The principal in her address congratulated the members of the newly elected Student Council. She advised them to imbibe the spirit of service and to strive hard to do their best for the school and for the society, saying that leadership means service. She further accentuated them to embrace their duties with humility, perseverance and loyalty.
The programme started with the readings from the Holy Quran followed a prayer song, thought, lamp lighting ceremony and a short cultural programme.
The student were all ears as the names of the student council was called out for the induction ceremony, who marched on stage to take their positions. The chief guest pinned the badges and the principal then administered the oath to all the office bearers making them realize the need to take all the duties entrusted to them, very seriously and ethically.
The Chief Guest addressed the gathering by first congratulating everyone on bagging the posts, making them realize the gravity of their responsibilities and emphasizing that discipline is the key factor to become a role model. Dr. Diwakara was overwhelmed to share memories of his school days.
On behalf of the entire team of office bearers, the school president proposed the vote of thanks and pledged to devote and dedicate his team towards the zenith of success. He expressed gratitude to all for their efforts that led to the smooth functioning of the Investiture Ceremony.
The programme concluded with the singing of the National Anthem.
