Mother’s Day Celebration at Bhavans Smart Indian School and Jack n Jill Preschool
“A mother is one who can take the place of all others but whose place no one else can take.”
The day that recognizes the essence of a mother was celebrated with great fervour and enthusiasm. Principal Mr. Mahesh Iyer, Vice Principal Mrs. Albin Daisy, teachers, parents and students were present at the celebration organized by grade 5 Aries students under the leadership of Ms. Anuradha on May 14th.
The students of class 5 Aries made an earnest effort to instil the importance of mother in a child’s life through effective thematic presentations, dramatization, and video clippings. Mother’s Day celebration reminded the little ones that they have been neglecting their duties as sons and daughters. The students of Grade 5 had something more special and unique to bring a smile on their beloved mother’s face. They passionately got involved in making beautiful greeting cards for their mothers. In addition to the artistic performances presented by the students, Mother’s Day celebration was heart-warming for the audience when the Art teacher Mr. Sunimon sprinkled various colours in a moment and performed a pictorial composition along with a dance. Principal also addressed the students and shared the message that the survival of human race lies in the sacrifice and pure love of mothers.
Mother’s Day is celebrated globally on May 14, 2023, in honour of mothers and motherhood, demonstrating the importance of mothers across the globe. It’s a day for showing our appreciation for our mother’s unceasing efforts to take care of their family and valuing their influence in our lives.
As we all know, mothers hold a special place in the hearts of our children, and to celebrate this everlasting bond of love and affection on this special day, the tiny tots of PRE-KG, KG1, and KG2 of Bhavan’s Smart Indian School and Jack and Jill Pre-School, with great enthusiasm, created lovely cards with a heartfelt message. Moreover, they danced to a beautiful song dedicated to all mothers. It was a pleasure watching the energetic children create something unique for the super moms with so much love and admiration. We at Bhavan’s always teach our children that a simple act of love and respect and a helping hand to their mother would be the greatest gift they could give her. Indeed, this celebration should not be limited to a single day in a year, we should celebrate Mother’s Day every day by sharing our love and care with our mother and thanking them for their selfless love.
