The 25th CBSE Kuwait Cluster Football Tournament, held from 22nd to 24th, October 2023, was a spectacular showcase of football talent, featuring participation from 20 CBSE schools in Kuwait. In this thrilling competition, the football team of India International School, Mangaf emerged as the undisputed champions, displaying a remarkable journey to victory.
The pursuit of the championship was nothing less than a spectacular triumph. In the opening match, IISM faced Carmel School and set the stage ablaze with a dominant performance, securing a resounding victory with an impressive score of 5-0. The momentum continued to build as they advanced to the quarterfinals, where they managed to edge out Indian Central School with a score of 1-0. In the semifinals, IISM's prowess shone brightly as they outperformed Gulf Indian School with a decisive 3-0 win, earning their spot in the finals. The grand finale was a hard-fought battle against Indian English Academy School (Don Bosco), where IISM's exceptional teamwork and skills secured a 2-0 victory and the championship.
