“Language is the road map of a culture. It tells you where its people come from and where they are going.”

Many of the students participated in this competition and recited the poems excellently. The school also inaugurated its much-anticipated Class Library and Reading Programme – Drop Everything and Read, promising to cultivate a love for books and learning among its students.

The English Department introduced young authors and their newly published books in the morning assembly. Many students had already published their books through the Young Authors’ Book Writing Festival powered by Bri Books. The opportunity was given to Grades 1–11 students for the 2023–24 academic year. It was a proud moment for Bhavans Smart Indian School and the Department of English.
