Indian Educational School Excels at Sastra Prathibha Contest 2023-24
Indian Educational School (IES) in Kuwait has once again showcased its unwavering commitment to academic excellence and scientific exploration by achieving remarkable success at the Sastra Prathibha Contest (SPC) 2023-24. Hosted by the Science International Forum (SIF), Kuwait, the SPC stands as a prestigious inter-school science talent search competition, drawing significant participation annually.
The 9th iteration of the contest, held recently, witnessed an impressive display of talent from IES, with 454 students engaging in the first-level examination on November 2, 2023. Among the participants were 60 students from Grade 4, 65 from Grade 5, 56 from Grade 6, 61 from Grade 7, 73 from Grade 8, 96 from Grade 9, and 43 students from Grade 10. Following a rigorous selection process, 23 students from IES advanced to the second-level examination, held on January 12, 2024.
IES takes immense pride in announcing Aditya Arun Kartha of Grade 9 and Manha Anees Shina of Grade 10 as the recipients of the prestigious Sastra Prathibha title in their respective grades. Their dedication and perseverance have not only brought honor to IES but have also reinforced its position as a paragon of knowledge and academic pursuit. Beyond individual triumphs, IES has also clinched the distinction of being named the best-performing school at the contest. Moreover, the school has been bestowed with the esteemed 'Acharya J.C. Bose Sastra Puraskar', underscoring its comprehensive excellence and steadfast commitment to science education.
