Kindergarten wing of Bhavans Smart Indian School was abuzz with excitement and joy as kindergarten students and teachers came together to celebrate two significant events: Onam and Prophet Mohammad's Birthday. The dual celebration highlighted the school’s commitment to fostering a rich cultural and spiritual understanding among its students.
The day began with the colorful Onam festivities, a vibrant festival marking the harvest season in Kerala, India. The school courtyard was transformed into a lively scene with traditional Onam decorations, including intricate floral arrangements known as ‘Pookalam.’ Students participated in a variety of activities such as traditional dance performances, including the graceful ‘Thiruvathira’ and the energetic ‘Pulikali,’ showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Kerala.
The school organized a special assembly where students and staff reflected on the teachings and life of Prophet Mohammad.
