GRANDPARENTS’ DAY CELEBRATION- 2024
The Indian School of Excellence celebrated Grandparents’ Day on October 24, 2024, honouring the love, wisdom, and guidance that grandparents provide. The Chief Guest of the celebration, Mr. Ramadoss emphasized the invaluable role that grandparents play in shaping the lives of their grandchildren. The Director Mrs. Sherly Dennis, in her welcome address expressed sincere gratitude for the essential role grandparents play in nurturing future generations.
The festivities began with an Islamic prayer, followed by a ceremonial lamp-lighting to symbolize hope and positivity. Students delighted attendees with a variety of performances, including a graceful welcome dance, a melodious group song, and a nostalgic retro-themed fashion show. The highlight of the day was a touching dance drama titled The Eternal Bond: A Grandparent’s Love, which beautifully illustrated the deep, unbreakable connection between grandparents and their grandchildren.
Grandparents beamed with joy and pride as they watched their grandchildren perform, and a special photo reel of cherished memories further enhanced the sentimental atmosphere. The celebration concluded with engaging games and trivia, bringing laughter and smiles to all participants. A memorable group photo captured the spirit of the day, marking a fitting end to an occasion filled with love, gratitude, and unforgettable moments.
