The evening unfolded as a resplendent spectacle, with the musical extravaganza ‘The Lion King’ serving as the crowning jewel, leaving the audience spellbound with its impeccable performances and captivating visuals.

The ceremonious proceedings commenced with the soulful recitation of the Quran, fostering a sense of sanctity and reverence, followed by the melodious strains of the Kuwait National Anthem. The air was imbued with excitement and anticipation as esteemed dignitaries graced the occasion.

Founder Principal Ms. Anju Deheman expressed her deep gratitude and connection with AIIS, appreciated honourable Principal Dr. Geetika Ahuja for articulating Aspire's vision beautifully, wished for the school's exponential growth, and highlighted her vision by paraphrasing Ravindranath Tagore's poem "Where the Mind is Without Fear."

Adding a touch of tradition and enlightenment, the ceremonial lighting of the lamp of knowledge illuminated the stage. This auspicious ritual was performed by a constellation of eminent personalities, including:

  • Ms. Anju Deheman, Founder Principal of AIIS
  • Mr. K.O. Mathew, Chairman [is absent but shared his good wishes]
  • Ms. Leelamma and Ms. Rosemary, esteemed family members
  • Ms. Stephanie Mathew, Head of Sustainability and Strategic Growth

These luminaries were gracefully escorted to the stage by the distinguished Principal Dr. Geetika Ahuja, Vice Principal Dr. Alice Kisku, and IGCSE Coordinator Mr. Babu, lending an air of decorum and prestige to the event.

The evening gained momentum with an electrifying performance titled ‘The Welcome Beat’ by the kindergarten students, whose boundless energy and charm enchanted the audience. Following this, respected Principal Dr. Geetika Ahuja delivered an eloquent and visionary address, encapsulating the school’s milestones and aspirations in the Annual Report, a testament to its unwavering commitment to excellence. In addition, honourable Principal, Dr. Geetika Ahuja, set the tone with a heartfelt welcome address, expressing her profound gratitude to the distinguished guests, esteemed principals and vice principals from various schools and enthusiastic parents.

In a gesture of honour and gratitude, a commemorative souvenir was presented to the Chief Guest, Ms. Anju Deheman. The former Vice Principal, Ms. Mary Joseph’s message was then delivered to the audience. It was an insightful and thought-provoking message, leaving an indelible impression on the attendees.

The zenith of the evening—the breathtaking presentation of ‘The Lion King’ transcended expectations with its theatrical grandeur, stunning choreography, and vibrant musicality. This awe-inspiring production was a celebration of the students’ creativity, dedication, and talent, culminating in a rapturous final curtain call presented by respected Vice principal, Dr. Alice Kisku met with thunderous applause.

The festivities concluded with a gracious vote of thanks delivered by Vice principal Dr. Alice Kisku, who eloquently acknowledged the relentless efforts of the organizers, the passion of the participants, and the unwavering support of the audience.
