ICSK Junior Celebrates The Spirit of Patriotism!
The strength of a nation lies in the integrity of its people and the values enshrined in its Constitution.
To commemorate the 76th Republic Day, the students of Indian Community School Kuwait - Junior conducted a special assembly with great patriotic zeal and fervor. The vibrant celebrations featured 100% participation from students in Kindergarten to 6th grade, who showcased their love for the nation through a marvelous presentation.
The assembly began with a welcome note, followed by a recitation from the Holy Quran and thought for the day. Students presented a soulful prayer song, invoking blessings for the nation on this auspicious occasion.
With great honour, the esteemed Principal, Mrs. C. Sheeja, unfurled the tricolor flag.
The view of the fluttering tricolour infused a deep sense of gratitude for those who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the generations to come. Following which the national anthem reverberated in the school campus.
Then came the long list of performances which captivated the audience. Dances were beautifully choreographed for the day. The coordinated movements and awesome energy displayed touched all hearts. The melodious patriotic songs once again reminded about the sacrifice of our freedom fighters.
A well scripted Republic Day skit beautifully conveyed the essence of nationalism, emphasizing love for one’s nation through unity, and selfless service. It highlighted virtues like sacrifice, and, responsibility, for one’s heritage. True love for the motherland lies in serving unconditionally, upholding values, and contributing to its progress with sincerity and integrity.
The speech emphasized the significance of Republic Day, the materialization of the Indian Constitution, and the role of its architect, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.
The Principal, Mrs. C. Sheeja, addressed the gathering stating the importance of the rules and guidelines in the Constitution. All Indians should abide by them, as the members of the drafting committee burnt the midnight oil framing them. Further she beautifully explained the significance of celebrating Republic Day and also why the flag is unfurled on Republic day and hoisted on Independence Day.
The assembly concluded with the recitation of the Pledge and the Indian National Anthem.
The Republic Day assembly left the gathering enriched with valuable insights from the engaging stage performances. The event effectively shared remarkable information, about this auspicious day. Each act contributed to a deeper understanding of national values, leaving the audience well-informed about the significance of the occasion.
