The Indian School of Excellence Kuwait (ISEK) marked Kuwait National Day celebration with two spectacular assemblies, celebrating the values of empathy, creativity, and unity.
On February 12, 2025, the kindergarten students presented a dazzling assembly with the theme “Creativity and Ambition”, integrating Republic Day celebrations with Kuwait National Day. The assembly featured a graceful prayer dance, a patriotic action song, and a "Heritage in Harmony" fashion show, where students proudly displayed traditional attire from India and Kuwait. A PT Drill Performance demonstrated teamwork, while the Arabic Dance and the "Trashion Runway" fashion show, featuring outfits made from recyclable materials, highlighted sustainability, and innovation.
Continuing the celebrations, Grade III students hosted their assembly on February 13, 2025, with the theme “Empathy.” The assembly featured a prayer song, an inspiring performance of "Together for Humanity," and a powerful skit, "The Power of Empathy." A lively group dance, "Rhythm of Kuwait," showcased cultural harmony, while the "Threads of Tradition" fashion show celebrated diverse heritage.
Mrs. Sherly Dennis, Director of ISEK emphasized the importance of empathy, creativity, and unity in shaping young minds, encouraging them to embody it in all aspects of life. Both assemblies concluded with the resonant renditions of the Kuwait and Indian National Anthems, reinforcing a shared spirit of cultural appreciation and harmony.
