The ICSK Khaitan IGCSE Benediction Ceremony 2025 was a memorable celebration, held to honour students of Grades 10 and 11 as they prepare to embark on their final examinations and future academic journeys. The event brought together parents, teachers, school leadership, and distinguished guests in a shared moment of reflection, appreciation, and encouragement. The ceremony began with an Islamic prayer led by a student, invoking blessings for the evening. This was followed by the national anthems of Kuwait and India, reminding everyone of the cultural roots and values the students uphold.
The occasion was graced by Chief Guest Dr. V. Binumon, Principal and Senior Administrator of ICSK Senior, and Guest of Honour Mr. Vinukumar Nair, Honorary Vice Chairman, Board of Trustees. They were accompanied by Principal Mr. K. Gangadhar Shirsath, Vice Principal Ms. Susmitha Prakash, Deputy Vice Principal, IGCSE, Ms. Minarva Ramesh, Academic Coordinator Ms. Bhavyata Awasthi, HOD IGCSE, Ms. Shafqat Hussain, Supervisor, IGCSE Ms. Thushara, along with HODs and Supervisors of ICSK Khaitan, faculty members, students, and parents. The ceremonial lamp was lit by the Chief Guest, Guest of Honour, and Principal Mr. K. Gangadhar Shirsath, symbolizing the light of knowledge, wisdom, and new beginnings.
A soulful fusion performance by students from Pre-IG to IG 2 added a musical touch to the atmosphere, setting a reflective tone for the evening. Principal delivered a motivating welcome address, acknowledging the hard work of students and the commitment of faculty. This was followed by the issuance of certificates and sashes to students of AS Level and IG 2, recognizing their efforts and achievements.
The certificate distribution segment honored the dedication and growth of students. Among them, MS. Ayesha Jamil received special recognition for achieving A* in all seven subjects in her Cambridge board exams2024, alongside her consistent contributions to co-curricular activities. In recognition of her academic excellence, she was also awarded an Academic scholarship for her AS Level studies.
Other students were celebrated for unique qualities and memorable traits—ranging from leadership and creativity to humor and hard work. These acknowledgments reflected the diverse personalities that make up the IGCSE community, turning the ceremony into a celebration of individuality as well as achievement.
Chief Guest Dr. V. Binumon, Principal and Senior Administrator of ICSK Senior, delivered the keynote address, emphasizing the importance of education, self-worth, and mental well-being. He urged students to stay confident and grounded as they move forward. His words were both timely and inspiring. A standout moment of the evening was the dance performance, Reverie – A Dance Dream, presented by students of IG 1 and 2. It captivated the audience with its grace and energy. The program also included a fun segment called “Top to Toe Time,” led by the teachers, which brought laughter and nostalgia, helping everyone relive cherished school memories.
The evening concluded with a group photo session to preserve the moment, a warm vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Thushara, and a heartfelt blessing ceremony where mentors offered their prayers and good wishes to the outgoing students. The Benediction 2025 was more than just a ceremony as it was a celebration of growth, hope, and transition, leaving students with a sense of pride and a heart full of blessings as they prepare for what comes next.
