The event commenced with an impressive Guard of Honour accorded by the newly appointed student council, extending a warm and graceful welcome to the esteemed Chief Guest, Dr.V. Binumon, Principal of the Indian Community School, Salmiya. He was joined by Director Malayil Moosa Koya, Principal K.V. Setting a spiritual tone, Miss Dana and Sahadha opened the ceremony with a serene recitation and translation of the Holy Quran, enveloping the hall in peace and reverence. This was followed by the melodious rendition of the Kuwait National Anthem & the school song beautifully performed by the school choir, reaffirming the students’ allegiance and respect.

Principal Mrs. K.V. Indulekha delivered an inspiring welcome address that highlighted the true essence of leadership, responsibility, and the pivotal role students play in shaping the future. Her words served as a guiding light for the young leaders stepping into their new roles.

In a symbolic and proud moment, the CCA in charge, Mrs. Feroza Sultana, along with Assistant Heads Mr. Adnan Naizak and Ms. Rupa Tushya Vardhini, handed over the emblematic IISM flag to the Principal and Vice Principal. With dignity and pride, the flag was then passed to the newly elected Head Boy, Master Bassim Ummar Bin Sabir, and Head Girl, Miss Ayesha Iqbal, who pledged to uphold the school’s values and traditions with dedication.

The four school houses — Ideal, Imperial, Sparkle, and Marvel — each hoisted their vibrant flags, led by their respective house mistresses and captains. These flags symbolized the distinct identities, mottos, and unity that thrive within the IISM community.

A particularly proud segment of the ceremony featured the official pinning of badges by the dignitaries. Each badge, from Head Boy and Head Girl to House Leaders and Captains of Sports and Cultural Activities, represented a commitment to excellence and leadership. The newly elected council members took an oath administered by the principal to uphold the school’s values, driven by purpose and determination. Stepping into the spotlight, the Head Boy and Head Girl delivered sincere and inspiring speech, expressing their gratitude, sharing their vision, and affirming their commitment to making a positive and lasting difference in their leadership roles.

Adding vibrancy to the ceremony, students captivated the audience with melodious musical performances and a high-energy dance that echoed the school’s cherished motto — “O Lord, increase me in knowledge.” These cultural displays beautifully captured the spirit and ethos of IISM.

The event also celebrated academic brilliance, with the 2024–25 academic toppers from Grades I-XI being honoured in the presence of their proud parents. The awards acknowledged not just academic achievement but also the perseverance, curiosity, and consistent effort shown by the stakeholders.

The Investiture Ceremony reached its defining moment when Chief Guest Dr. V. Binumon took the podium to deliver his seminal address on leadership. With compelling clarity, he outlined seven cardinal principles that would guide the newly appointed council: "Develop leadership through teamwork," "Believe in yourself to climb the ladder of success," and "Obstacles will come, but persevere." His words carried particular weight as he admonished the young leaders to "Be the role model your team deserves" and "Inspire others through your actions," while fundamentally stressing the need to "Cultivate a growth mindset" and "Set clear goals and strive relentlessly." The audience, comprising faculty, parents and students, responded with rapt attention, recognizing these maxims not merely as advice for student governance but as enduring life lessons.

The presentation of the house trophies marked a truly memorable highlight of the ceremony, as the remarkable accomplishments of the top-performing house were honoured. Marvel House stood out for their outstanding performance across a wide array of inter-house events throughout the past year. This significant moment highlighted the school's commitment to nurturing healthy competition, teamwork, and sportsmanship, while also strengthening a shared sense of pride and unity among students. In a moment of well-earned triumph, Marvel House emerged as the overall champion, proudly receiving the prestigious trophy.

The ceremony concluded with a gracious vote of thanks proposed by CCA Secretaries Jai Chitra Ajit Kumar and Mohammed Ijaz. They expressed deep gratitude to all dignitaries, parents, staff, and students whose efforts and support made the event a memorable success.
