Floral Fiesta: A Celebration of Togetherness
Bhavans Kuwait came alive on Saturday, 27th September 2025, with Floral Fiesta: A Celebration of Togetherness — an occasion that blended tradition, joy, and unity in true Bhavans spirit. Teachers of Indian Educational School (IES)and Smart Indian School (SIS) joined hands to honour the essence of Onam in a vibrant celebration filled with color, culture, and camaraderie.
The festivities unfolded with the majestic Maveli Varavelppu, warmly welcoming the spirit of Onam. Soon after, the stage blossomed with the rhythmic grace of Thiruvathira, enchanting everyone with its elegance. Adding to the festive mood, teachers of all nationalities and ethnicities danced joyfully to the tune of peppy Onam songs, further enriching the celebration with a powerful display of unity and togetherness. The day brimmed with laughter, energy, and team spirit, reaching a high point with the traditional Onam Kali, where creativity and camaraderie found joyful expression.
No celebration is complete without a feast, and the grand Sadhya turned the day into a true festival of flavors. Prepared and served with the wholehearted involvement of the staff, the meal was more than just food — it was a symbol of unity, teamwork, and shared joy.
Adding grace and warmth to the occasion was the esteemed presence of the Chairman, Mr. N. K. Ramachandran Menon. The celebration was further honoured by the presence of the Principal of IES, Mr. Anand Victor, the Vice Principal of SIS, Ms. Bhavitha Bright, the Vice Principals of IES, Ms. Meenakshi Nayyar, Mr. Liju Joseph, and Ms. Hima Nirmal, the Headmistress, Ms. Muneera Mammikutty, and the Administrative Manager of Bhavans Kuwait, Ms. Ameera Bendari.
