Bhavans Blaze 2025 Ignites the Spirit of Creativity and Unity at IES

Bhavans Indian Education School (IES) witnessed a spectacular celebration of talent, teamwork, and cultural pride as it hosted its annual inter-house cultural festival, Bhavans Blaze 2025, at the IES Auditorium. The event brought together 650 students from four dynamic houses, united by a shared motto: “One team, one dream, one Flame.”

The day-long extravaganza was a vibrant showcase of music, dance, drama, and artistic expression. The campus caught with passion as students, teachers, and school leaders came together to celebrate the spirit of creativity and community.

The festival commenced with a warm welcome by Vice Principal Ms. Hima Nirmal, followed by an inspiring oath-taking ceremony administered by Dr. Murugyan, Head of the Physical Education Department. Students pledged to uphold the values of integrity, unity, and wholehearted participation, setting a powerful tone for the day’s events.

Principal Mr. Anand Victor, known for his visionary leadership and commitment to holistic education, officially declared the festival open. His motivating address energised the audience and participants alike, emphasizing the importance of creative expression in student growth.

A distinguished panel of judges — including Vice Principals Ms. Meenakshi Nayyar, Mr. Santhosh Chungath, Headmistress Ms. Muneera Mammikutty, faculty members Ms. Bindu Sam, Mr. Jenit Tony, and Music Instructor Mr. Ratnesh — evaluated the performances with expertise and appreciation. Prior to the competitions, Mr. Santhosh Chungath introduced the vision of Bhavans Blaze, while Mr. Liju Joseph briefed participants on the judging criteria.

The performances reflected an extraordinary level of talent and enthusiasm, with each house presenting a distinct blend of cultural richness and creative flair. The auditorium was transformed into a dynamic spectacle of color, sound, and energy, with resounding applause accompanying each act.

At the culmination of this spirited competition, House Tapas was crowned the Overall Champion. House Sanskriti earned the title of Best Band, House Seva was recognized as Best Singers, and House Satya received a special award for the highest number of student participants.

The results were announced by Ms. Meenakshi Nayyar, alongside Principal Mr. Anand Victor, who congratulated all students for their exemplary efforts, applauding their dedication and artistic courage.

The event concluded with heartfelt appreciation for the House Masters, Mistresses, and Captains for their exceptional leadership and support. Bhavans Blaze 2025 reaffirmed the school’s enduring commitment to nurturing not only academic excellence but also the creative spirit, teamwork, and cultural engagement that empower its students to shine.
