Aspire Indian International School, Kuwait proudly hosted the Graduation and Farewell Ceremony of its first Class XII batch (2026) on 19th January 2026. The event themed “Metamorphosis,” celebrated the journey of students from curious learners to confident, responsible young adults ready to step into the world.
The ceremony began with a nostalgic recreation of the morning assembly, including a Quran rendition, Salutation, and Kuwait National Anthem, followed by the School Prayer Song, English Prayer and Morning Affirmation, highlighting the school’s emphasis on faith, unity and values.
The Lighting of the Ceremonial Lamp by Ms. Stephanie Mathew, Mr. Toby Mathew and the school leadership symbolised knowledge and guidance. Ms. Stephanie Mathew encouraged students to embrace change with courage, prioritise character and empathy and pursue lifelong learning while remaining rooted in values.
A highlight of the ceremony was the inspiring address by Principal Dr. Geetika Ahuja. She described the occasion not merely as a farewell or graduation but a celebration of growth and transformation, likening the students’ journey to a caterpillar trusting the process before seeing its wings. She praised the pioneering batch for their academic, emotional and moral development within Aspire’s nurturing environment. “You entered Aspire as learners finding your voice. You leap forth as young minds ready to take flight,” she said. She also offered practical guidance for the Board examinations, advising students to learn beyond the syllabus, grow beyond comparisons, compete with themselves and pursue careers aligned with their values and ethics. She concluded with heartfelt blessings, affirming that students walk out ready to rise and achieve with Aspire always in their hearts.
The ceremony also featured cultural performances by junior students, beautifully depicting the journey of student life, followed by the Blessing Ceremony where graduates held lit candles, symbolising their transition from being guided to becoming guiding lights themselves. The Memento Distribution Ceremony celebrated the achievements, leadership and unique contributions of each graduate.
The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Vice Principal Ms. Husena, who expressed gratitude to the school leadership, teachers, students, parents and guests for making the day memorable. She highlighted the spirit of unity, perseverance and mentorship that defines Aspire and ensured the graduates that the school’s support and guidance will always accompany them.
The farewell segment brought joy and laughter through cultural performances, games, music and a special memory movie, strengthening bonds and creating lasting memories. The Yearbook was released as a treasured keepsake of shared experiences and milestones.
