“Smart Indian School Hosts an Insightful Medical Career Guidance Session with RCSI Bahrain”
Smart Indian School, under the visionary leadership of its Chairman, Mr. N. K. Ramachandran Menon, and the able guidance of its Principal, Ms. Bhavitha Bright, along with the dedicated support of the Administrative Manager, Ms. Amira Bendary, continues to prioritize academic excellence and career-oriented learning for its students. As part of its ongoing commitment to higher education guidance, the school organized an enriching and comprehensive University Orientation Session for students of Grades 9 to A Level on 8th February 2026 in the school auditorium. The session was conducted by esteemed representatives from Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland – Medical University of Bahrain (RCSI Bahrain), and was designed to familiarize students with the evolving landscape of medical education and the wide range of opportunities available in the healthcare sector.
During the session, the university representatives provided detailed insights into the various healthcare programmes, including the teaching methodology, clinical exposure, accreditation, international affiliations, and pathways for postgraduate studies. They also explained the admission process, eligibility criteria, entrance examinations, scholarship opportunities, and student life on campus. Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of academic preparedness, ethical values, and the dedication required to pursue a career in medicine. The session was highly interactive, with students actively engaging by raising questions related to course structure, global recognition of the degree, internship opportunities, and career prospects across different countries. The representatives addressed these queries with clarity, offering practical guidance and real-world insights that helped students gain a realistic understanding of the medical profession.
