ICSK Khaitan Conducts Aashirvaad 2026 – Blessing Ceremony for Class XII

The occasion stood as a graceful tribute to the remarkable journeys, achievements, and personal growth of the graduating students, while also serving as a beacon of encouragement as they step into promising futures.

The ceremony was graced by the distinguished Chief Guests, Mr. D. K. Sharma, Chairman, Indian Learners’ Own Academy, Kuwait, and Mrs. Asha Sharma, Founder Principal, Indian Learners’ Own Academy, Kuwait, whose presence added immense prestige and solemnity to the event. The occasion was further honoured by the esteemed members of the Board of Trustees of The Indian Community School Kuwait Mr. Shaik Abdul Rahiman, Hon. Chairman, ICSK; Mr. Vinukumar Nair, Hon. Vice Chairman; and Mr. Azharuddin Amer Mohammed, Hon. Secretary, along with the respected principals, vice principals, and deputy vice principal of various ICSK schools. The enthusiastic presence of parents, teachers, and the Class XII students of ICSK Khaitan infused the programme with warmth, vibrancy, and heartfelt emotion.

The ceremony commenced on a reverent note with an Islamic prayer, followed by the National Anthem of Kuwait, setting a tone of unity and gratitude. The ceremonial lamp was then lit by the Chief Guests along with the School Principal, Mr. K. Gangadhar Shirsath, symbolising wisdom, hope, and enlightened guidance for the path ahead.

In his motivating address, the Principal underscored the importance of perseverance, discipline, and unwavering self-belief, urging students to embrace challenges with courage, integrity, and resilience. The programme featured a soul-stirring musical presentation titled “Melody of Hope,” which beautifully captured the spirit of optimism and aspiration. This was followed by a Special Award Distribution, celebrating excellence in academics, leadership, sports, arts, holistic achievement, and 100 percent attendance during the academic year. The awards were graciously presented by Mr. D. K. Sharma, applauding the students’ dedication and commitment.

The Chief Guests were formally felicitated by Mr. Shaik Abdul Rahiman, Honorary Chairman, in the presence of the School Principal. In her inspiring address, Mrs. Asha Sharma encouraged students to remain focused, confident, and steadfast in the pursuit of their goals. She shared practical insights on effective preparation and reassured students that with determination and discipline, it is never too late to begin anew. The occasion also witnessed the release of the flyer for the Universal ICSK Study Centre by Honorary Secretary Mr. Azharuddin Amer Mohammed, announcing admissions for the upcoming academic year.

Each graduating student was presented with a memento and the ICSK Khaitan Student Passport, a cherished keepsake symbolising their identity, memories, and lifelong bond with their alma mater. Students representing each academic stream shared heartfelt reminiscences, transporting the audience through moments of nostalgia, laughter, and gratitude. The atmosphere was further enlivened by a captivating dance performance that enthralled the audience with its energy and elegance. Followed by that grade XII students presented a thoughtfully curated souvenir as a heartfelt reflection of their gratitude and appreciation towards the management, principal, teachers, and mentors who had guided them throughout their academic journey. The gesture stood as a touching testament to the bonds forged over the years and the deep sense of respect and thankfulness the students carried as they prepared to bid farewell to their alma mater.

Ms. Manju Vinod, Supervisor, Senior Secondary Section, delivered a gracious vote of thanks, while the Vice Principal, Ms. Sushmeeta Prakash, through her powerful exhortation, inspired and energised young minds to dream boldly and act purposefully. The emotionally resonant “Showers of Blessings” segment left students deeply moved, instilling confidence, gratitude, and inner strength.

AASHIRVAAD 2026 was not merely a farewell, it was a heartfelt celebration of growth, gratitude, and new beginnings, reaffirming that the values, lessons, and memories of ICSK Khaitan will forever illuminate the paths of its students. The evening concluded with a grand gala dinner, fostering camaraderie and joy as students, teachers, and guests came together in a spirit of celebration and togetherness.
