Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony Held at Gulf Indian School
Gulf Indian School conducted its Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony on Thursday, February 12, 2026, marking the successful completion of the academic year for its UKG students.
The programme commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by the National Anthem of Kuwait and the school song. Ms. Sreeja P. Nair, UKG Coordinator, welcomed the gathering.
The dignitaries honoured on the occasion included Chief Guest Mr. Radhakrishnan C, Principal of United Indian School; Special Guest Dr. Bibi Dhanan, Orthopedic Specialist at Shifa Al Jazeera Medical Center; and Guest of Honour Mr. Jamnas Ali Moosa, PRO at Shifa Al Jazeera Medical Center and school alumnus.
In his address, Principal Dr. Prashant Vasudev highlighted the progress and development of the students and emphasized the importance of parent-teacher collaboration in nurturing children.
The highlight of the event was the UKG convocation ceremony, during which graduates received certificates, medals, and mementos from the dignitaries. The chief and special guests addressed the gathering, sharing insights on parenting and the significant role of teachers in early childhood education.
Prizes were distributed to students for various competitions conducted during the academic year, including Fancy Dress and sports events. The cultural segment featured performances by LKG and UKG students.
The programme concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Nisheela Hakim, Vice Principal (KG & Primary).
