The event was organized under the leadership of Mr. N. K. Ramachandran Menon, Chairman of Bhavans Middle East, whose unwavering commitment to educational excellence continues to drive the institution toward holistic development. The event was meticulously planned and executed under the strategic direction of Ms. Bhavitha Bright, Principal of Smart Indian School, whose emphasis on nurturing both academic and cultural growth ensures that students flourish in all aspects of life. Ms. Amira Bendary, Administrative Manager of Smart Indian School, provided crucial support to ensure the smooth running of the program. The celebration paid tribute to Kuwait’s National Day (25th February) and Liberation Day (26th February), commemorating the nation’s independence in 1961 and its liberation in 1991 — milestones reflecting courage, unity, and resilience. The campus was transformed into a vibrant festive arena, adorned with the national colors of Kuwait. Artistic displays, themed backdrops, and patriotic decorations created a visually captivating and immersive environment for students and staff.

The program commenced with a warm and patriotic welcome, emphasizing the significance of Hala February and its connection to Kuwait’s history and national identity. The Kuwait National Anthem was performed with solemnity, filling the campus with a sense of honor and unity. Adding a spiritual dimension, a recitation from the Holy Quran invoked blessings for peace, prosperity, and continued progress for Kuwait. Students from Grades 1 to 8 actively participated in the vibrant performances that blended culture, creativity, and patriotism. Kindergarten students charmed the audience with an endearing dance dedicated to Kuwait, radiating innocence and joy. The Primary section followed with an energetic and colorful dance reflecting national pride and unity. Through expressive choreography and coordinated formations, students conveyed messages of harmony, respect, and gratitude toward their host nation. Enhancing the educational value of the celebration, the senior-grade students delivered a captivating presentation accompanied by an informative quiz titled “Kuwait at 65: A Journey of Pride and Progress.” Through confident narration, they highlighted Kuwait’s history, prominent landmarks, cultural traditions, economic growth, and global contributions. This segment showcased Kuwait’s remarkable journey as a nation that balances deep-rooted tradition with modern development, instilling pride and appreciation among the students. The event reflected meticulous planning, dedication, and collaboration. The combined efforts of the school leadership, faculty, and support staff ensured the flawless execution of every segment. Hala February 2026 Celebration reaffirmed Smart Indian School’s commitment to holistic education — fostering students who are academically competent, culturally informed, and socially responsible.
