Boeing Aerospace Engineering Workshop Inspires the Students of ICSK SENIOR
The The Indian Community School, Senior in collaboration with INJAZ Kuwait organized an engaging online Boeing Aerospace Engineering Workshop for Class XII Science students on 14th April 2026. The virtual session, conducted via Zoom, aimed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world applications.
Mrs. Susan Rajesh, Vice Principal of ICSK Senior presented the welcome address highlighting the importance of such initiatives in expanding students’ academic and career perspectives. The session was led by Ms. Reyouf Al Arada, Program Executive Injaz for Private Schools, marking the first collaboration between ICSK and Boeing, making it a significant milestone for the institution.
The workshop introduced students to fundamental aerospace concepts, including the forces of lift, thrust, drag, and weight that govern flight. A visual presentation further enhanced understanding by demonstrating how aircraft operate during takeoff. Students also explored the evolution of Boeing, from its early designs in 1916 to modern aircraft like the 787 Dreamliner.
The session shed light on Kuwait’s aviation sector, with insights into major airlines such as Kuwait Airways and Jazeera Airways. Additionally, students were introduced to diverse career opportunities in aerospace, ranging from piloting and engineering to cybersecurity and airport operations.
Highly interactive in nature, the workshop included engaging activities and discussions that encouraged active participation. Students described the session as informative and inspiring, appreciating the opportunity to gain practical insights into the aviation industry.
The Boeing Aerospace Engineering Workshop conducted at ICSK proved to be a highly successful and impactful initiative. It not only enhanced students’ knowledge of aerospace engineering but also motivated them to explore future careers in science, technology, engineering, and aviation.
