ISEK Ignites Academic Year 2026–27 with “UMANG — A New Beginning”

The Indian School of Excellence Kuwait marked the commencement of the academic year 2026–27 with a series of vibrant virtual assemblies themed “UMANG — A New Beginning.” The assemblies brought together students from all grades, focusing on the spirit of positivity, resilience, and making a meaningful impact.

The programme showcased a rich blend of creativity and thoughtful expression. A highlight of the event was the engaging “Umang Times” segment, featuring podcasts, and short films presented by senior students. Younger learners captivated the audience with their enthusiastic performances, reflecting confidence and optimism. A powerful dance drama based on the life of Sudha Chandran added depth and inspiration to the theme, while thoughtful speeches by the young learners brought simplicity and sincerity, creating a truly well-rounded experience.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Sherly Dennis, Director of ISEK, encouraged students to remain positive, believe in their abilities, and approach challenges with confidence, transforming them into opportunities through a constructive mindset.

The assembly beautifully reflected the essence of “UMANG — A New Beginning,” inspiring students to embrace the academic year with hope, determination, and a renewed sense of purpose.
