International Education Wing of ICSK Khaitan Invests New Senate with Leadership Mantle

The International Education Wing of The Indian Community School Kuwait, Khaitan successfully conducted its Investiture Ceremony 2026 on Monday, 8 June 2026. The School Principal, Mr. K. Gangadhar Shirsath, was the Chief Guest of the day. The ceremony marked the formal induction of the newly elected senate members and class representatives, entrusting them with leadership responsibilities for the academic year.

The programme commenced as the Senate members accorded a grand Guard of Honour to the Chief Guest, followed by a well-coordinated march past. The solemnity of the occasion was further elevated by an Islamic Prayer and the National Anthem of Kuwait, creating an atmosphere of respect and unity. The gathering was warmly welcomed through the Welcome Address delivered by faculty member Mrs. Aadelah Nakhuda, who highlighted the significance of leadership.

Following this, Mrs. Sruthi Shahi, the Senate Advisor, took over the session to formally introduce the newly elected Senate. The central event of the ceremony was the investiture of the Senate and class representatives, where the badges of office were conferred upon the student leaders by Mr. K. Gangadhar Shirsath, alongside Mrs. Minarva Ramesh, Vice Principal, ICSK Khaitan (International Education). The newly appointed leaders were then administered the Oath of Office by Mrs. Minarva Ramesh, pledging to uphold the values of the school and perform their duties with sincerity and dedication.

A motivational song added inspiration to the occasion, encouraging students to strive for excellence and lead by example. The audience was further enlightened by the Chief Guest’s Address, delivered by Principal Mr. K. Gangadhar Shirsath. In his speech, he shared profound insights into the essence of true leadership, distinguishing between the two fundamental types: elected leaders and emerged leaders. He earnestly urged the young learners to continuously hone their potential to become the visionary future leaders the world needs.

The programme also featured the presentation of awards, recognizing the achievements and contributions of deserving students. The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks proposed by the Head Boy, Master Suheb Khan. The event ended with a Group Photograph, capturing memorable moments of pride and celebration. The Investiture Ceremony served as a platform to inspire young leaders and reaffirm the school’s commitment to nurturing responsible and confident future citizens.
