ISEK Conducts Engaging ‘Meet the Professional’ Session with Social Entrepreneur Ms. Anisha Joseph
The Indian School of Excellence, Kuwait (ISEK), conducted the third session of its Meet the Professional series on 7th June 2026 for students of Grades 6 to 10, continuing its initiative to provide structured career exposure to students.
The session featured Ms. Anisha Joseph, Founder and Executive Director of Spark Social Ventures, Singapore, as the resource person. A social worker, entrepreneur, and advocate for social change, she shared a compelling narrative of her professional journey and the values that shaped her work in the field of social impact.
She emphasized that career paths are often shaped by experiences, choices, and purpose rather than linear progression. Her work in areas such as social inclusion, empowerment, and community development reflects her commitment to meaningful societal change. Her contributions have received international recognition and have been featured in reputed media platforms including BBC, Reuters, CNA, and The Straits Times.
The session turned highly interactive as students engaged with the speaker during the Question-and-Answer segment, gaining clarity on career possibilities in social work, leadership, and humanitarian fields.
Dr. Sherly Dennis, Director of the Indian School of Excellence, Kuwait, conveyed her appreciation by presenting a digital memento on behalf of the institution. She encouraged students to stay open to learning experiences that help them identify their interests and strengths.
The session concluded on a reflective note, leaving students with a deeper appreciation of empathy, resilience, and purpose as essential elements in building meaningful and impactful careers.
Looking ahead, the Meet the Professional series will continue its journey after the summer break, resuming with sessions featuring experts from diverse fields. The initiative aims to further broaden students’ horizons and provide continued exposure to real-world career pathways.
