FAIPS KG CELEBRATES WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY 2026
Fahaheel Al-Watanieh Indian Private School (FAIPS) Kindergarten celebrated World Environment Day on June 3, 2026, through a vibrant online programme centered on the theme, “Inspired by Nature, For Climate, For Our Future.” The event aimed to foster environmental awareness among young learners and inspire them to become responsible custodians of the planet.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome by the KG Headmistress, who greeted the distinguished guests, parents, teachers, and students. She led the children in taking the Green Promise, “We love our Earth! We will keep it clean,” setting a positive and enthusiastic tone for the celebration.
The event continued with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, conveying a message of peace and harmony, followed by the Kuwait National Anthem, which instilled a sense of unity and patriotism among the participants.
The formal proceedings began with the virtual lighting of the Lamp of Knowledge, symbolizing enlightenment and wisdom. The Principal, Mr. Ravi Ayanoli, addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of environmental conservation. In his inspiring message, he encouraged students to adopt simple eco-friendly habits in their daily lives and highlighted how small actions can make a significant difference in protecting Mother Earth. His address was met with an enthusiastic response from the young learners.
Adding a touch of excitement to the programme, a group of KG students presented a delightful surprise performance that brought smiles to the audience. An informative PowerPoint presentation was then showcased to help children understand the significance of World Environment Day. The presentation featured engaging “Eco Kids” characters, including the Tree Protector, Water Guard, Plastic Fighter, and Energy Saver, each promoting simple yet effective ways to care for the environment. Through these characters, students learned the importance of protecting trees, conserving water, reducing plastic use, and saving energy.
A special presentation highlighting FAIPS Kindergarten’s contributions to environmental sustainability was also shared. One of the major attractions of the event was the introduction of the KG Spring Garden, which showcased a variety of herbs and plants, including moringa, neem, basil, curry leaves, rosemary, and hibiscus. The flourishing garden stood as a testament to the school's commitment to environmental stewardship and was greatly appreciated by all attendees.
The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by the Headmistress, Mrs. Bharti Tiwari, who expressed her sincere gratitude to the parents, teachers, students, and guests for their enthusiastic participation and unwavering support. In her closing remarks, she encouraged the children to embrace the true spirit of World Environment Day by practising environmentally responsible habits and becoming active protectors of nature.
The celebration ended on a meaningful note, leaving participants with a powerful message of love, care, and responsibility towards the environment. Through this inspiring initiative, FAIPS Kindergarten successfully reinforced the importance of environmental conservation and motivated its young learners to contribute towards building a greener, cleaner, and more sustainable future
