FAIPS (DPS): Empowering Tomorrow’s Entrepreneurs with Injaz, Kuwait
FAIPS (DPS) hosted a workshop on entrepreneurial development for the students of Grades XII and IG2 on Wednesday, 3rd June 2026, during the school hours in the Multipurpose Hall. The workshop, held in collaboration with Injaz Kuwait, a non-governmental, non-profit organization, aimed at equipping students with entrepreneurial and AI centered skills. Students explored the fundamentals of AI—including its history and various types—before testing their new knowledge with an interactive crossword puzzle and trivia session. This helped to keep the students engaged from the beginning to the end of the workshop.
Students at the workshop traced the incredible journey of artificial intelligence from the 1950s to 2023. Through this historical lens, they discovered how AI is currently transforming the medical industry. Key discussions highlighted how precision tools, predictive data analysis, and advanced image recognition are reshaping healthcare—and why these revolutionary visual systems depend on high-definition imagery to succeed.
Students also explored a segment tracing the fascinating history of aerospace engineering and the revolutionary impact of AI on modern aviation. The session turned its spotlight toward global aviation pioneer Boeing, giving participants an in-depth look at the company’s historic milestones and its current standing in the aerospace industry. Mentors highlighted how AI is transforming this sector, from optimizing flight paths to predictive maintenance and inspiring students to look at the different potential for technological innovation and future career paths in aerospace.
The energy skyrocketed during the "Business Challenge," forcing students into a 30-minute race to build an AI startup from scratch. Despite the brief timeframe, each group successfully created a company name, designed a logo, and formulated a detailed business model defining their services and profit structure. This activity highlighted the participants' presentation and real-time problem-solving skills, with the most exceptional teams earning well-deserved prizes for their efforts.
Addressing the students and teachers at the entrepreneurship workshop, the Principal Mr. Ravi Ayanoli emphasized that in this rapidly evolving AI era, young entrepreneurs must focus on solving real-world problems with ethical integrity while leveraging technology as a tool to amplify, rather than replacing essential human traits like creativity and empathy. He further urged the attendees to prioritize data responsibility, adaptability, and continuous learning to successfully navigate the challenges of the future and lead the next generation of innovation with purpose and resilience.
The Injaz Workshop proved to be an immensely enriching experience, inspiring participants to think critically, collaborate dynamically, and envision the boundless possibilities that artificial intelligence holds for the future. By seamlessly blending education with hands-on innovation, the event left students empowered, deeply informed, and motivated to explore the rapidly evolving world of technology.
