Hindi Diwas 2026: A Celebration of Language, Culture and Creativity

Indian School of Excellence (ISEK), Kuwait, celebrated Hindi Diwas 2026 with great enthusiasm and cultural fervor in the month of September, involving students from Classes 1 to 10.
The three-day programme featured a series of engaging competitions that encouraged students to showcase their creativity, linguistic skills and cultural talent. Events included Bhojan Mahotsav, Kavita Gayan, Hindi Geet, Mono Act, Katha-Kathan and Ashu Bhashan, providing students with diverse opportunities to express themselves in Hindi.
The celebrations culminated in a Special Hindi Assembly on 17 September, featuring a vibrant blend of Hindi songs, storytelling, a patriotic skit, group dance, Hasya Natika, solo song, drama and a colourful fashion show. The performances showcased the beauty, richness and cultural significance of the Hindi language.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Sherly Dennis, Director, ISEK, appreciated the students for their creativity, enthusiasm and active participation. She encouraged them to take pride in Hindi as a language and cherish its rich cultural heritage.
The programme offered students a meaningful platform to celebrate Hindi as a language of communication, creativity and cultural identity, while fostering confidence, teamwork and a deeper connection with India's rich linguistic heritage.
