Silver Medal for ICSK at CBSE National Games
In a stellar performance, Christa Vincent of the Indian Community School Kuwait secured a silver medal in the high jump competition in the 20th CBSE National Athletic Meet held at Raipur from the 26th to 30th December 2015. She competed and won in the under-19 girls’ category and is the only winner this year from Kuwait region.
A total of nine students represented the school at the national level. Jijo Jacob reached the semi-finals of the 200m event in the Under-16 Category and 4x100 m Relay team entered the finals in the same category. This is the first time that a relay team from the Kuwait region has reached the finals at the nationals.
The management, staff and students of ICSK extend their heartiest congratulations to the athletes and the physical education teachers of ICSK who have brought laurels to the school.
