WORLD BOOK DAY CELEBRATED AT ICSK KHAITAN

The Indian Community School Kuwait, Khaitan, celebrated World Book Day with enthusiasm and joy from 17^th April, 2016 to 21^st April, 2016. It was a celebration of authors, illustrators, books and most importantly a celebration of reading. The main aim was to encourage children to explore the pleasures of books and reading.

A special assembly was conducted to mark the importance of books. Students performed various activities including skits, speeches and Power Point presentations. Students of class VIII were dressed up as different characters and presented a skit which was the highlight of the programme.

The whole school was decorated with charts, display materials and famous quotes of great writers. As a part of the celebration, students made colorful badges marking World Book Day.
