Walnut and Raisin Cake
The ever-popular tea cake turns exotic with the addition of walnuts and raisins. A cake that will make your Christmas more enriching.
Ingredients 

01. Butter - 200 g
02. Sugar (powdered)  - 200 g
03. Eggs (separated) - 4
04. Maida - 200 g
05. Baking powder - 2 tsp
06. Walnut (sliced) - 50 g
07. Dried raisins - 50 g

 
Preparation 
01. Pre-heat the oven to 300°F.
02. Mix the butter and sugar well till soft and creamy.
03. Beat the eggs well in another bowl.
04. Now mix it together with the butter-sugar mixture.
05. Sieve the maida and baking powder well and add it slowly into the butter mixture along with the walnuts and raisins.

06. Pour the cake batter into a greased cake tin and bake in a pre-heated oven.
07. Sprinkle icing sugar over the cake and serve.
