Mahalaxmi Iyer lent her voice for AR Rahman’s Jai Ho for the film Slumdog- Millionaire, an Oscar-winning song to her credit. Also hit film like Bunty Aur BabliDhoom 2Fanaa, and Salaam Namaste. Mahalaxmi is known for her performances in songs like Kabhi Sham Dhale (Sur - The Melody of Life), Har Taraf (Rishtey), Chup Chup Ke (Bunty Aur Babli), Bol Na Halke Halke film (Jhoom Barabar Jhoom), Aaj Ki Raat (Don- The Chase Begins Again). Des Rangeela. Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy's first Hindi feature film Dus and Rahman sir's Dil Se. She worked with the top notch music directors of this country from IlayarajaHarris JayarajMurthyGuru Kiran & D.Imam.
