The Indian Cultural Society Kuwait is proud to present Dil Ki Awaaz, a memorable evening of music, culture and friendship dedicated to the enduring bond between India and Kuwait & commemorating Gandhi Jayanti. The special musical evening will be held on Friday, 2nd October 2026 at 7:00 pm at the INNOVA Auditorium, Mahboula, Kuwait.
The event also carries special significance as it coincides with Gandhi Jayanti, honoring the enduring values of peace, harmony, humanity and unity associated with Mahatma Gandhi.
The audience can look forward to an engaging musical journey featuring soulful melodies, Bollywood favorites, energetic performances and a celebration of the rich cultural connection between the two nations.
The evening will feature the celebrated Bollywood playback singer and live performer ALAMGIR KHAN, accompanied by talented performers Nishtha Pathak and Aman Khan.
Alamgir Khan a celebrated voice of Bollywood, with more than 20 years of experience in the Indian music industry. Alamgir Khan is a prominent Bollywood playback singer and accomplished live performer with strong classical roots associated with the prestigious Patiala Gharana.
He has performed more than 150 Bollywood songs and over 50 regional tracks in languages including Punjabi, Marathi, Gujarati, Haryanvi, Rajasthani and Odia, among others.
Alamgir Khan received his Bollywood break with “Desi Beats” from the film Bodyguard, followed by songs including “Khiladi Bhaiya Khiladi” from Khiladi 786 and “Surya Ast Punjabi Mast” from Action Jackson.
He became widely recognized for his association with the hugely popular “Mauka Mauka” musical campaign launched around the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015, which became a viral sporting anthem and brought his voice to audiences across the world.
His impressive filmography includes songs associated with films such as Yamla Pagla Deewana, Leela, Damadamm, Rascals, Welcome 2 Karachi, Ranchi Diaries, Manmarziyaan, Happy Hardy and Heer, Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi, Sat Sri Akaal England, Dil Jo Na Kahe Saka and several others.
Alamgir Khan's journey has been marked by several recognitions, including the ‘Dadasaheb Phalke Fashion Icon Lifestyle Award 2022’, ‘Perfect Bollywood Playback Singer Award 2021’ by Perfect Woman Publication, the ‘World Women's Day Special Mumbai Police Award 2023’, ‘UM Stellar Award 2019’, and the ‘Swasth Bharat Award’.
He was also featured in the “Top 30 under 30” list published by Hindustan Times*. Beyond music, Alamgir Khan has also been associated with initiatives promoting social and cultural heritage, including his involvement with a drug-free center initiative in Himachal Pradesh in 2019.
