TMA INTERFAITH IFTAR PROGRAM
By the Grace of Almighty, Tamil Nadu Muslim Association (TMA), a subsidiary of Indian Muslim Association (IMA)- Kuwait has conducted Communal Harmony Interfaith Iftar on 31st March 2023 for the Tamil speaking diaspora living in Kuwait.
The Essence of Ramadan is Quran and thereby program started with a beautiful recitation and explanation of the Holy Quranic verses by Br. Mohammed Javeed, followed by Welcome address by Br. Abdul Wahab in welcoming the audience and expressed the importance of conducting inter faith iftar and sharing of love and being united with harmony in the society.
Then the main theme of the program has been addressed by Janab. Nazeer Ataullah president of JIH Chennai Metro division. He highlighted Ramadan is special because of the Quran and the message of the quran is for the entire mankind to live in peace and harmony, establishing justice and it is a total guidance for the entire life.
The program proceeded with interaction with the audience and then breaking the fast jointly. A special Appreciation and thanks to Al Faysal Bakery & Sweets for sponsoring the Snack box.
Finally the program came to an end with a delicious Iftar meal and a total of 130 persons participated from different walks of life and presented gift snacks to all the participants.
