Maurya Kala Parisar to hold 8th Dinkar Hindi Awards
8th Edition of Hindi Dinkar Awards will be held on Friday, 22 September 2023 at Indian School of Excellence Auditorium Salmiya between 12.45 PM to 6 PM. The event is a competition in Hindi Debate, Original Poetry and Hindi Poetry Recitation for individual students nominated by schools. Further, one Hindi Achiever from each School based on his/her academic performance in Hindi in secondary and preceding year examinations will be honoured with Certificate. Last year 102 Students from 13 Indian Schools 24 Teachers participated in the competition.
Details of this year competition are as follows:

Competition 1: Hindi Debate: Class IX to XI: Time: 1 PM to 2.15 PM.
It is Individual Contest. However, schools should submit entries in pairs of One for and One against. Each school can submit two pairs. (Total 4 students). 2 minutes for opening remarks and 1 minutes for rebuttal will be given to each contest.
Competition 2: Original poetry in Hindi: Class IX to XI: 2.15 PM to 3.15 PM.
Poetry should be written by the contestant and a copy (PDF/Image) should be submitted along with the entry. Contestant needs to recite the poem on date of the competition. Total 3 Minutes Maximum will be given to contestant. Maximum 5 entries are allowed per school.
Competition 3: Recitation of Hindi Poets or Poems from 21st Century by students: Class VI to VIII: 3.15 to 5.30 PM. Only names of poem and poet needs to be submitted with entry. 3 minutes maximum time for each contestant. Maximum 5 entries are allowed per school.
Hindi Achiever: Schools will select on the basis highest marks in secondary board (Class 10) examination. In case of tie, performance history in class 10 & 9 internal exams to be used. One nomination per school is accepted.
Prize Distribution: 5.30 to 6 PM
