Indian Muslim Association in coordination with Indian Doctor’s Forum conducted a highly informative & engaging Online Webinar focused on Health Awareness & Wellbeing on Friday 13th October 2023. The event featured two distinguished speakers who addressed crucial topics related to Health Care
Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) Presentation by Dr. Syed Mahmood:
Dr Syed Mahmood, a Community Service Secretory (IDF) & Consultant in Farwaniya Hospital delivered a comprehensive presentation on Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). He discussed in detail the causes, symptoms, prevention, and management of CKD. His remarkable expertise & knowledge on the subject and ability to communicate complex medical information in clear & accessible manner was highly appreciated by all attendees.
Prophetic Medicine: Importance and Benefits by Dr. Raziul Islam Nadwi:
Renowned Scholar Dr Raziul Islam Nadvi shed light on the significance & advantages of Prophetic Medicine. His lecture delved into traditional healing practices advocated by Prophet Muhammadﷺ, providing attendees with an understanding of their role in maintaining good health and well-being.
Dr Diwakar Chaluvaiah, President-Indian Doctors’ Forum briefly addressed the audience on the role & purpose of IDF who is working whole heartedly round the clock for the welfare of the community. He thanked IMA for regular organizing similar events in collaboration with IDF for community welfare.
The event witnessed active participation from a diverse audience, including medical professionals, community leaders, and general public. The Talks were followed by an engaging Q&A session, allowing attendees to seek clarification on health-related queries from the experts. The Event started with the recitation of Holy Quran by Master Hamza Nisar, well conveyed by Br Yusuf & was concluded with Concluding speech & Vote of Thanks by IMA President Janab Moulana Umar Falahi.
