Pearl of the School 2023 awards were presented to 25 students from 25 Indian schools in Kuwait who have performed well in arts, cultural and non-curricular subjects and Bini Antony Memorial Award to the top achiever of class 7 of United Indian School organised by Thanima Kuwait.
The program started with a prayer song by Child Thanima members under the leadership of Serafin Freddy, and was presided over by Onathanima Program General Convenor Ashraf Churot, POS Convenor D.K. Dileep welcomed the attendees. After the introductory speech by program convener Babuji Batheri, former Kuwait international volleyball player Khalid Al Muthairi inaugurated the program.
After the March Past of the Pearl of School Students, their individual profiles were presented. Children were rewarded with a specially prepared memento and certificates. Awards were also presented to the children of Thanima members who have performed well in academic and extra-curricular subjects.
Dr. Dheeraj Bharadwaj, Group CEO of City Group Co presented his views on Innovation & Creativity in the keynote address. Canadian international athlete Emma Repel shared the accolades. Renowned motivational speaker Mani Paul delivered the motivation message.
Thanima Convenor Shaiju Pallipuram, Malabar Gold Country Head Afzal Khan, Metro Medical Group CEO Hamza Payyannoor, Thanima Joint Convener Vijesh Velayudhan offered their greetings. The Ladies wing members coordinated the program preparations. Usha Dileep, Convener of Ladies Wing of Thanima expressed vote of thanks.
