TEF hosts Andrea’s Philharmonic Musical feast at DPS Auditorium, Ahmadi
The DPS Auditorium in Ahmadi, Kuwait, resonated with the melodies of celebration on February 7, 2025, as the Tamil Engineers Forum (TEF) proudly hosted the much-anticipated "Andrea's Philharmonic Musical Feast." This vibrant evening delivered an extraordinary musical experience, offering a delightful treat for music enthusiasts and a refreshing addition to Kuwait's entertainment scene. The event showcased a unique musical style rarely seen in Kuwait, captivating the audience with its distinctive charm and artistry.
The event commenced at 5:30 PM with the rendition of the Kuwait National Anthem, followed by the Indian National Anthem. The TEF Ladies' Wing then ceremonially lit the lamp, gracefully illuminating the stage and marking an auspicious beginning to the musical evening.
Mr. Suresh Anand presented the safety moments, followed by a traditional recitation of couplets of Thirukkural by Mr. Raj Narayanan, reminding the audience of the rich heritage of Tamil literature.
The evening's proceedings continued with a Welcome Address by Mr. Balan, General Secretary of TEF, who highlighted the events organized by the forum so far this year. The Presidential Address by Mr. Raja followed, where he outlined the upcoming events that TEF has in store for the community in the coming months.
The show began with an energetic and hilarious performance by Mr. Kureshi, a popular artist from Vijay TV, who just did not stop chattering and brought the house down with laughter. Next came the enchanting musical session that would captivate the audience with the soulful melodies from Tamil playback singer Mr. Ananth Anthaksaran.
The crowning moment of the evening was by the renowned artist Ms.Andrea Jeremiah, who performed with an electric stage presence and a series of super-hit songs. She enthralled the audience for a shade over two hours making it a memorable musical experience for everyone present.
As a token of appreciation, the TEF committee members presented mementos to all the artists, recognizing their stellar performances at this event.
Mr. Gem Prasanna anchored the event, ensuring a smooth flow of the program throughout the evening. The event was concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Mr. Subramanian, Vice President of TEF, who thanked the artists, sponsors, and all present for their support to make the evening a grand success.
