Tamilnadu Engineers Forum (TEF-2025) Hosted “Second Technical Seminar” and “TEF-2025 Walkathon Finale” Events

The Tamilnadu Engineers Forum (TEF-Kuwait) successfully organized its second Technical Seminar on Thursday, 20th February 2025, at the Millennium Hotel, Salmiya. The grand finale of TEF-2025 Walkathon took place the next morning (21st February 2025, Friday) at the Al Sahel Sports Club, Abuhalifa.

TEF 21FEB25 2The technical seminar which featured an informative Legal Awareness session for NRIs by Mrs. A.S. Divya Advocate at Madras High Court followed by an engaging Q&A session. The second session of the seminar was a Technical Presentation by  Mr. Vijay Kumar Budhlani Chief Operating Officer of Technical Sales at Dembla Valves Ltd. titled "Value Visionaries: Innovators Shaping the Future of Flow Control."

A key highlight of the event was the presence of the esteemed Special Guest, Mr. R. Gnanasekaran, an Asian Gold Medalist and Arjuna Awardee. Mr. Gnanasekaran, who won a silver medal in the 100m and a gold medal in the 200m at the 1978 Asian Games in Bangkok, shared inspiring anecdotes from his journey, emphasizing the importance of determination and perseverance in achieving success.

The TEF committee members honored the distinguished guests and presenters with shawls, garlands, and mementos.

TEF 21FEB25 8The much-anticipated TEF-2025 Walkathon Finale took place the following morning at Al- Sahel Sports Club. Despite the breezy weather, a large number of TEF members and their families enthusiastically gathered for the event, which commenced at 6:30 AM. Mr. Gnanasekaran once again graced the occasion, delivering an inspiring speech titled "Feel the Motivation of Walking."

TEF had earlier launched a 26-day Walkathon competition to encourage its members to adopt healthier walking habits. During the finale, winners were selected based on their daily step count averages, and Mr. Gnanasekaran personally presented them with awards, encouraging all participants to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle.

TEF 21FEB25 6Both events were well organized by the TEF 2025 committee members, marking yet another successful initiative by TEF-Kuwait in fostering technical excellence, community engagement, and wellness among its members.
