Kuwait Tamil Makkal Sevai Maiyam and M.A. Hythar Group jointly host the 8th Annual Iftar event
On March 28, 2025, the 8th Annual Iftar program, co-hosted by the Kuwait Tamil Makkal Sevai Maiyam and M.A. Hythar Group, concluded on a high note, attracting over 2,000 attendees. The event took place at the M.A. Hythar Group office in Mirqab and marked a significant milestone in strengthening Tamil community ties within Kuwait.
Distinguished guests, including Dr. S.M. Hyder Ali, Chairman of M.A. Hythar Group, and Eng. G. Raja, President of the Tamilnadu Engineers Forum (TEF), Kuwait, graced the occasion. Officials from the Indian Embassy also participated, further elevating the importance of the event.
A special speech was delivered by Imam Maulavi Theni Yasar Arafat Aalim Imdadi, Principal of Aljanna Women's Arabic College in Chidambaram, shared an insightful address with the attendees.
The event saw broad representation, with various Indian associations, social activists, media representatives, and members of Indian political parties and Tamil communities coming together, making the occasion even more significant.
The event was organized by M.A. Hythar group staff and Kuwait Tamil Makkal Sevai Maiyam under the leadership of Executive Chairman Rahman, Secretary Sahul, and key members Rasik, Abudhakir, Balu, Rashid, Yunus and social worker Alibai. Their dedicated efforts played a crucial role in making this year's Iftar program a memorable and impactful experience for all.
