Indian School of Excellence, Kuwait, Celebrates Labour Day with Gratitude and Generosity
All labour that uplifts humanity has dignity.” — Martin Luther King Jr.
The Indian School of Excellence, Kuwait, commemorated Labour Day with a meaningful celebration that recognized the vital contributions of its support staff. The program aimed to instill respect for every role in society and foster a spirit of gratitude among students.
A special assembly and cultural presentation brought alive the dignity of labour through songs, speeches, and dance—each paying tribute to the invisible hands that keep the institution running smoothly.
As part of the celebration, students contributed essential items such as fruits, pulses, hygiene products, and more. These contributions were thoughtfully assembled into grocery kits and distributed to the school’s support staff, with School Parliamentarians leading the initiative.
Extending the spirit of service, the Parliamentarians also reached out to support staff across all branches of the Indian Community School, Kuwait.
The initiative served as a powerful message of inclusivity and social responsibility. By engaging actively in the collection, packing, and distribution process, students learned valuable life lessons in empathy, gratitude, and teamwork.
Director Mrs. Sherly Dennis commended the initiative, stating, “When young minds learn to respect every worker and contribute with compassion, we build a more humane and responsible future.”
This Labour Day celebration at the Indian School of Excellence not only acknowledged the hard work of support staff but also reinforced the core values of respect, humility, and service within the school community.
