YMCA conducted Interchurch Bible Quiz:
YMCA Kuwait conducted the Nineth Interchurch Bible Quiz competition at Abassiya. The program was inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Geevarghese John. Mathews Mammen (President) presided the function. Saji Jacob (Patron), Dr. Naveen Thomas (Vice President), Ajesh Thomas (Treasurer), Mathew Koshy (Trustee – Accounts), Sunny Andrews (Convener) delivered the felicitations on the occasion.
The biblical quiz was based on the books of Genesis & the gospel Mathew. Ms. Susan George the Quiz Master conducted the Quiz session with the technical support of Joji B, John, Sam John & Bincy John. The Jury members was Rev,Fr, Jacob Varghese & Pastor Jose Philip.
After a tough competition, Church of God won the first prize, Mariam Ever Rolling Trophy, Kuwait City MarThoma Parish, bagged the second prize, Sunny Andrews & Family Ever Rolling Trophy & St.Thomas Orthodox Church, Ahamadi, secured the third prize, Mathew Eapen Ever rolling Trophy.
The winners were presented with medals and certificates. Rev. Fr. Geevarghese John., Rev. Fr. Jeffin Varghese (St. Stephens Indian Orthodox Church), Rev. Jacob Varghese (St. Peters MarThoma Church), Pastor Jose Philip distributed trophies and mementos to the winning teams.
Manoj Parimanam (General Secretary) welcomed all the teams and the guests. A.I.Kurien (Advisory Board Chairman) proposed the vote of thanks.
