Indian Muslim Welfare Association Hosts Vibrant Family Picnic at Rawda Garden
The Indian Muslim Welfare Association (IMWA) successfully organized its annual family picnic on 7th November at the scenic Rawda Garden, bringing together a large number of members along with their spouses and children for a memorable day of recreation, bonding, and community spirit.
The President of the association, Syed Hanif Ahmed, welcomed the gathering and formally declared the picnic open. Families arrived early with smiling faces, ready to enjoy a blessed, cool, and sunny day filled with fun and relaxation. The event featured a variety of exciting games and fun-filled activities for all age groups, creating an atmosphere of joy, laughter, and friendly competition. Children eagerly participated in specially arranged games, while adults enthusiastically joined in popular team events, making the entire day lively and engaging.
A highlight of the event was the delicious breakfast and lunch buffet, offering a diverse selection of dishes that catered to all tastes and added a delightful culinary touch to the celebration. Families relaxed, interacted, and strengthened their bonds over good food and shared moments.
Members, young and old, took part in several exhilarating games organized under the supervision of the General Secretary, Firdaus Alam Khan. There were exciting nail-biting quiz and housie session followed by a lucky draw, were major attractions, keeping the enthusiasm high among the participants.
As the day drew to a close, small gift goody were distributed to young children, who eagerly waited for their turn with bright, smiling faces in excitement as they received their presents. Prizes were also awarded to the lucky winners of the various games conducted throughout the day.
IMWA officials expressed their happiness at the enthusiastic participation of members and extended heartfelt appreciation to the youth wing and lady volunteers who worked tirelessly to ensure the smooth and enjoyable execution of the event. The picnic proved to be not only a day of recreation but also a meaningful opportunity to foster unity, strengthen bonds, and reinforce the association’s sense of togetherness.
In his concluding thanksgiving speech, the President expressed pride in the collective efforts that made the event a resounding success.
