Niram2025KalaArt0015sKala (Art) Kuwait conducted “NIRAM-2025” Children’s Day Painting Competition in association with American Tourister, on Friday, 14th November 2025 at Indian Community School Kuwait, Khaithan, on the occasion of Children's Day celebration by marking the 137th birth day of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the First Prime Minister of India. Kala (Art) Kuwait is delighted to celebrate its 21st Anniversary of “NIRAM” Painting Competition with elegance and glory which is opened for all students of Indian Schools in Kuwait.

All roads led to the venue of Kala (Art) Kuwait “NIRAM 2025” and the entire venue was full crowded with little artists from various corners of Indian Expatriate Community in Kuwait, as well as from Arab, Philippines and Sri Lankan nationals studying in Indian Schools, flashing with different colours and lines created a festive atmosphere.

There were more than a 3120 entries out of which 2685 children took part in the competitions. Various Gift items were distributed to all participants immediately upon conclusion of the competition of each group. Clay Sculpture was also a competition item for the students and the parents were actively participated in the open canvas as well.

Kala (Art) Kuwait President Siva Kumar, Program General Convener Jiyash Abdul Kareem, Treasurer, Ajith Kumar, Public Relation Convener, Mukesh V.P, Our Main Sponsor American Tourister Representative Mr. Noufal, Executive member Ragesh P D, Registration Convener, Sunil Kumar, Prominent Community Leaders Najeeb P.V, Aniyan Kunju, Sumesh, Anil P.Alex, Hanif,  Binu Sukumaran were attended the inaugural function and the compeering were led by Aneecha Shyjith & Lincy George.

Well Known Artists Mr. Sasi Krishnan, Mr. Hari Chengannur and Mr. Sunil Kulanada had done the overall supervision of the competition. A team of more than 100 Volunteers of Kala (Art) Kuwait controlled the program lead by Shyjith, Johney, Kanakaraj, Mustafa, Ashraf, Anil, Rijo, Vishnuraj, Sarath, Prince, Vishnu, Praveen, Prajeesh, Jayesh, Manoj, Rijin, Pramod, Jyothi Sivakumar, Rekha & Bindu.

The results of the Competitions will be announced by the organizing committee as well as the judging committee on 10th December 2025 through leading newspapers and also websites and the prize distribution ceremony will be held in the month of January 2026 at Indian Community School, Khaithan and the date will be announced accordingly.

Kala (Art) Kuwait, announce exclusive prizes for the winners. The first place winners of each group will receive a Gold coin & Gold medal, second place winner with silver medal and third place winner with bronze medal apart from memento & certificate. Besides the 1st, 2nd & 3rd, places, there will be Merit Prizes and Ten (10) percent of the participants will be awarded with consolation prizes. Apart from the individual winners, there will be Overall Championship Trophy for the Schools who topped in the first three places in rating.

Also, a Memorial Trophy will be awarded to the School from which the maximum numbers of students were participated in this event, as a tribute to our beloved Late. Mr. C Bhaskaran, one of the founder and advisory board member of Kala (Art) Kuwait.

The organizers proudly express their satisfaction on the successful completion of the competition and take this opportunity to thank all Children, Parents, Management and Teachers of all Indian schools in Kuwait, Representatives of various Indian socio-cultural organizations in Kuwait and all our Sponsors for their active participation and wholehearted support for making the event a grant success.
