Kuwait Tamil Drivers Service Centre Successfully Hosts Free Medical Camp at Shifa Al Jazeera Hospital

WhatsApp Image 2025 11 18 at 17.37.23 1 11zonThe Kuwait Tamil Drivers Service Centre successfully organized its Fourth Annual Grand Free Medical Camp at Shifa Al Jazeera Hospital, Fahaheel, attracting nearly 600 beneficiaries from the general public.

The event was graced by Dr. S. M. Hyder Ali, Chairman of the M. A. Hythar Group, who attended as the Chief Guest and event was presided over by Mr. Thurai Abbas.

A number of distinguished personalities from India addressed the gathering through Zoom video conference, including Mr. Avadi Nasser, Tamil Nadu Minister for Minority Welfare; Mr. Senji Masthan, Former Tamil Nadu Minister for Minority Welfare; Mr. R. S. Bharathi, Organizing Secretary, Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK); Mr. Nellai Mubarak, State President, SDPI; and Mr. A. K. S. Vijayan, Special Representative of the Government of Tamil Nadu in New Delhi.

The medical camp was supported and facilitated by the key members of Shifa Al Jazeera Hospital Dr. K. T. Rabeulah – Chairman; Mr. Gunaseelan Pillai – Administration Manager; Dr. Jayakrishnan – Medical Director; Dr. Dhiviya Mahesh – Specialist, Internal Medicine, Diabetes & Hypertension and Dr. Vivek – Ophthalmology (Eye Specialist). Their expertise and dedicated service played a vital role in delivering high-quality medical care to all attendees.

The event was efficiently coordinated by Lalgudi Syed Imam Jafar. Key office-bearers who contributed to the successful conduct of the camp included President - Jainul Abdeen, Treasurer - Mukannamalaipatti Jegabar Ali, Chief Advisor - Muthupettai K. M. Naina Mohammed, General Secretary - Vittukatti Masthan and Head of Medical Team - Ansari.

Prominent Kuwaiti senior lawyer Mr. Marzook, representatives from various Tamil associations, political party members in Kuwait, and community leaders and members of the general public were also present in large numbers to extend their support.

The medical camp offered a range of essential health services, including general check-ups, specialist consultations, and diagnostic support. With more than 600 participants benefiting from the initiative, the event was widely appreciated as a significant contribution to community welfare.
