Kuwait Tamil Sangam Celebrates KTS Family Day 2025
The Kuwait Tamil Sangam (KTS) celebrated its vibrant KTS Family Day 2025 with great enthusiasm and cultural grandeur at the Salmiya Indian Model School Auditorium on 14th November 2025. The event brought together members, families, and distinguished guests for an evening filled with tradition, entertainment, and community spirit.
The program commenced with the auspicious lighting of the Kuthuvilakku, symbolizing prosperity and the rich cultural heritage of the Tamil community. Following this, Dr. Ananthi Natarajan, President of the 2024–2025 committee, delivered the Presidential Address, expressing gratitude to all committee members and KTS families for their unwavering support throughout the year.
The celebrations featured captivating singing and dance performances by talented adults and children. Showcasing classical, folk, and contemporary styles, these performances were met with enthusiastic applause and set a lively and joyous tone for the evening.
A key highlight of the event was the formal introduction of the new Executive Committee for 2025–2026, which officially took charge during the ceremony. The newly elected team is as follows:

Following the committee announcement, the program featured a delightful Couple’s Ramp Walk, performed by KTS members. The couples showcased creativity, elegance, and confidence, making this segment one of the most enjoyed highlights of the evening.
The memorable evening concluded with heartfelt appreciation, community bonding, and a renewed sense of togetherness, reinforcing Kuwait Tamil Sangam’s commitment to promoting Tamil culture and unity among the Tamil diaspora in Kuwait. The celebrations ended on a delicious note with a Saravana Bhavan dinner.
