Onathanima 2025, organized under the auspices of Thanima Kuwait, commenced in grand style with a vibrant traditional procession and chendamelam, showcasing the richness of heritage and the strength of community unity.The ceremony began with a welcome address by Onathanima Joint Convener Dominic Antony, while Onathanima Convener Binil Skaria presided over the function. GAT CEO K.S. Varghese officially inaugurated the event. Dr. Dheeraj Bhardwaj, CEO of Door2Door and CityLink Shuttle, lit the traditional bhadradeepam (lamp). Thanima General Convener Jojimon Thomas delivered the introductory remarks, and NRI Tug of War Federation President Babuji Bathery highlighted Thanima’s core values and mission.Dr. Dheeraj Bhardwaj also presented an insightful talk on the growing importance of Artificial Intelligence in the modern world and how it will influence future generations. Thanima Treasurer Rana Varghese, Joint Convener Vijesh Velayudhan, Thanima Women's Section Convener Usha Dilip, and Office Secretary Jinu K. United Indian Schools Executive Administrator Joel Jacob released the Thanima Directory 2025. Souvenir Convener Vijeesh Velayudhan and Joint Convener Kumar Thrithala presented the first copy to Musthafa Kari. During the flag-off ceremony of the Tug of War Championship, Sports Convener Jins Mathew handed over the flag to Sayeed Arif, Purchase Manager of Manko Hyper.New members who joined the Thanima family were welcomed by Mubarack Kambrath, who handed over membership cards. The 19th Tug of War Championship was held with intense and thrilling competitions. In addition, the 13th Pearl of the School Awards were also distributed.Kumari Joanna Mariam Shaji and Kumari Malavika Vijeesh rendered the prayer song.
