TEF Kuwait Hosts Grand Technical Valedictory - Tech Horizon 2025
Tamilnadu Engineers Forum (TEF), Kuwait, conducted the Grand Technical Valedictory, Tech Horizon 2025 on November 28 at the Ocean View Hotel, Mahboula, marking the completion of another year of technical activities and professional development initiatives.
The program commenced with the Tamil Thai Vaazhthu and a safety briefing, followed by a welcome address delivered by Eng. Vadivelan. The technical valedictory featured three key presentations delivered by industry experts.
The first seminar, titled “Engineered Valve Technologies and High-Performance PTFE Liners” by Mr. Saif Obeidat, Area Sales Manager for Qatar, Kuwait and Oman, representing Crane ChemPharma & Energy. Mr. Saif discussed engineering innovations in valve design and sealing solutions.
This was followed by the second session on “Grab Sampling and Plant Safety,” was presented by Mr. Varghese Uthup, Regional Sales Manager, Crane Instrumentation & Sampling, UAE, who outlined advancements in sampling systems and associated safety standards.
The final address was delivered by Mr. Sakthi Singh, Former Consultant at the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Railways, Textile & Power, Government of India, on the topic “Opportunities and Facilities Provided by the Central Government for Promoting Start-ups and MSMEs in India.” He outlined key schemes, incentives, and support frameworks available to entrepreneurs and small businesses.
Each session was followed by an interactive Q&A, offering attendees valuable insights and practical guidance. Felicitation of speakers and dignitaries was held at various intervals during the program.
The event also incorporated TEF’s Annual General Body Meeting, during which the General Secretary, Eng. Balasubramanian, presented Tech Year in review report, and President, Eng. Raja proposed amendments to the by-laws.
The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Joint Secretary Mr. Periyasamy. The valedictory concluded with a networking dinner attended by TEF members, sponsors, and invited guests.
